Email: info@bau-rockstars.de
Please send any questions about data protection to info@bau-rockstars.de.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the website assetident.com. For the AssetIdent application, the agreements with the company that uses it and has given you access apply.
3. Visiting our website
Provision and security. When you visit assetident.com, we process technically necessary connection data: IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, and information about your browser and operating system. Without this data, the website can neither be delivered nor protected against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Service providers. The website is hosted on servers of a hosting provider in Germany. All requests first pass through the network of a service provider based in the USA, which encrypts the connection, fends off attacks and speeds up delivery. It sees the connection data in the process. Standard contractual clauses apply to the transfer to the USA. Both service providers act as our processors.
No cookies, no tracking. The website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising tools.
Retention period. The connection data is processed only briefly for the delivery and protection of the website and is not stored permanently.
4. Contact and enquiries
Contact form. If you write to us using the form on the website, we process your name, your company, your email address and the language of the page (German or English) in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The details are forwarded to our mailbox (see “Email”).
Email. If you send us an email, we process your address and the content of your message in order to handle it. Our mailbox is hosted by an email provider based in the EU, which processes the messages as a processor. A transfer to the USA is possible in the process. Standard contractual clauses apply to it.
Retention period. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and no contract has been concluded, at the latest after six months. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law apply.
5. Recipients
For the website and enquiries, we use service providers of the following categories as processors:
- Hosting (Germany): operation of the website and the contact form
- Protection and delivery of data traffic (USA)
- Email (EU, transfer to the USA possible)
We only pass on data to other third parties if we are legally obliged to do so. On request at info@bau-rockstars.de, we will name the individual service providers and send you a copy of the standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany, poststelle@ldi.nrw.de.
Right to object (Art. 21(1) GDPR). Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7. Obligation to provide data
The technically necessary connection data is required for visiting the website. Information in the contact form is voluntary – without it, however, we cannot answer your enquiry.
