What is AssetIdent?

AssetIdent is software by Bau-Rockstars GmbH. It turns walkthrough photos into reviewed asset master data for your CAFM: the AI detects and classifies the assets, your team reviews and approves them, and the data goes into your system as Excel.

Does AssetIdent replace my CAFM?

No. AssetIdent is not a CAFM, not a ticketing system and not a replacement. It fills your existing system with reviewed asset data. Your CAFM, your processes and your maintenance planning stay as they are.

Where do the photos come from?

You capture the photos directly in the application or bring them in from OpenSpace walkthroughs or BCF files.

How are the assets classified?

Based on DIN 276 / CAFM-Connect or your own data model.

Who reviews the results?

Your team. Every suggestion comes with a confidence score and the original image. Only what you approve counts as “Verified”. Every change to an asset is logged.

In what format do I get the data?

As Excel with master data and all attributes for import into your CAFM. An open API is in development.
